Can Minors get Tattoos?

The Florida Health Department requires that anyone under the age of 18 (minor), must provide a Notarized Minor Consent Form before beginning any tattoo. A new Notarized Minor Consent Form must be completed for every visit. Under no circumstances should an artist tattoo anyone under the age of 16.
Minors must be accompanied to their appointment by their legal parent/guardian, and both the minor and the adult must provide a government issued ID.
